Tanya Deemer is a Global Celebrity Makeup Artist whose career spans over two decades. Her work is seen on the Runways of New York Fashion Week, Hollywood’s Big Screen & Red Carpet, International Advertising Campaigns for major global corporations, Magazine Editorials and much more.
She has also served as a Beauty Industry Expert on ExtraTV & The Doctors in Hollywood to educate the viewers on industry tips & tricks. Tanya has been featured as an expert by top publications like New Beauty, Oprah Magazine,The Knot, Well & Good, Martha Stewart Living, Cosmo and Glamour regarding all things makeup.
Getting her start in the Wedding industry in the late 90’s, Deemer has also devoted her time to hundreds of Brides through the years on their big day.
In addition to her busy freelance career, Tanya serves as the Global educator/artist for TEMPTU Airbrush Makeup at such venues as IMATS and The Makeup Show. Her passion for education has propelled her into a position to be able to share her knowledge and experience with aspiring makeup artists worldwide.
How this stroke of genius happened...
After teaching makeup classes for years, a global pandemic changed the face of makeup artistry education...in a good way!
I was forced to bring my knowledge and experience to anyone and everyone who wanted it...on demand! It was a real eye-opener.
One day I was scrolling through social media and noticed, yet another ad for a class learning to apply makeup to a professional model with flawless skin.
That's when it really hit me! We don't need videos with perfect skin. We need videos of everyday challenges and how to tackle those...with an airbrush, no less!
As luck would have it, I happen to excel at diffusing these types of situations in my makeup chair and I've had years of experience teaching makeup artists all over the world how to do it too!
